What we are

Foundry Compliance exists to make regulatory compliance easier for the people doing the actual work. Not easier by hiding the complexity, but easier by checking it properly so you can focus on the design.

We are building for UK architectural practice because that is the profession we understand. If we get something wrong, we will tell you clearly and fix it.

Who we are

We are a small team. We do not have a large organisation behind this. We have a deep understanding of the problem, the regulatory framework, and what professionals actually need from a compliance tool.

What we cover

The tool checks designs against the active regulatory requirements for your submission pathway. Current coverage:

• Part L 2021 (Conservation of fuel and power): Regs 25–44, including Reg 26A fabric energy efficiency, Reg 40 air permeability testing requirements, Reg 44 mechanical ventilation.
• Future Homes Standard (ADL1 2026): Primary energy metric (March 2025 uplift), fabric performance pathway, technology pathway.

Coverage is updated when the regulation changes. Not when we get around to it.

How we approach errors

This tool uses AI to check designs against a live regulatory database. AI can make mistakes. When the tool produces an incorrect finding, we will publish what went wrong and what we did to fix it. We will not hide errors behind vague version notes.

Every finding includes the clause reference it is based on. You can check our work. The professional decides. The tool checks.
